Australian tenor Paul Bentley-Angell is in increasing demand as a concert soloist and consort singer throughout the UK and Europe. Paul graduated with first-class honours from the University of Melbourne in 2008 before moving to Europe in 2010 to take up a place in the Master of Advanced  Studies (MAS) program at the Schola Cantorum in Basel, Switzerland. There he specialised in Advanced Vocal Ensemble Studies (AVES) under the direction of renowned musician and director Anthony Rooley (lutenist & director Consort of Musicke). 
 
In addition to his regular post with Ars Nova, Paul can be found singing with other world-renowned ensembles such as Polyphony, The Gabrieli Consort, Collegium Vocale Gent, Ensemble Gombert, Musica Beata, Contrapuctus, Ex Cathedra, Siglo de Oro and The Bach Consort of Moscow. Paul is a founding member of The Consort of Melbourne, and of London-based madrigal group Convictus. On the church scene, Paul sings periodically at Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Cathedral, the London Oratory, St James' Sussex Gardens and other various churches in and around London. Paul also served as a lay-clerk at Winchester Cathedral for 2 years. He currently lives in Chichester, UK
